Google Docs provides an online writing space with all the tools necessary for student writing. Even better, Google docs can be shared and edited collaboratively. In this session, you’ll open a Google account and learn the basics of creating, editing, and sharing documents online – no fancy word processor needed!

Tech Tuesday Blogging in the Classroom

Developing writing, sharing ideas, reflecting on work, getting feedback are just some of the uses of blogs – a kind of on-line journal – in the classroom. What’s more, kids love blogging! In this session, you will create your own blog and learn some innovative uses for blogs in the classroom.
